You'll find our pricing quotes to be affordable and clearly structured
To help gain an insight on the costs of our approach, consider these different perspectives:
What the major firms expect you to pay
As an example of the expected pricing of full service search optimisation, we'll look at an article from ClickZ.com (a major industry forum). Fredrick Marckini at ClickZ.com in his article on how to 'Build a Search Engine Budget', advises "expect to spend from $90,000 to $240,000 [USD] per Web site annually for a full service SEM firm or $50,000 to $90,000 for a solo consultant or smaller SEM company."
In our opinion, the above mentioned prices reflect the 'high-end' of top-tier firms working in reasonably competitive international categories.
While there is little doubt that such firms will do a good job, we feel that our pricing and service structure is significantly more accessible.
We'll offer a very comparable solution at a fraction of the cost. We are a smaller professional firm, with less overheads, we're Australia-based, and it is not usually necessary to join expensive year long programs.

Comparison with other types of advertising
Search Marketing starts to make even more sense when you compare it to other forms of advertising.
Newspaper or Local Paper
For example a relatively small advertisement in a city-wide newspaper can easily cost a thousand dollars or more. Even a small advertisement in a local paper will run at a few hundred. Such advertisements will only be effective with the current edition of that paper, which may be as short as a day or two.
Direct Mailing or Leaflet Drop
On the other hand, imagine the cost of a direct mailing. Even 1,000 small A5 leaflets (let alone a several page colour brochure that is the equivalent of your website) can cost up to $300 or so, and then postage or distribution is another few hundred on top of this. Once again, this often only has a short-term awareness effect. Experts recommend multiple mailings, considering a 0.5% to 1% response as being quite successful.
Search marketing makes extra sense
For similar amounts, you can invest in your online exposure, in a medium where your prospects are actively searching for information on businesses like yours. - In a medium that is growing in prominence daily. Once you've invested in building a solid foundation for yourself, your website may even maintain a good level of prominence in your industry category indefinitely (with continuing improvement and maintenance).
In addition to this, your online spend is completely accountable. You can know exactly how many people are finding you as a result of your efforts. You can adjust and fine-tune your efforts as needed.
Because Australia has a relatively smaller economy (compared to the US for example), search optimisation efforts (exclusively for the Australian market) have the potential to require much less maintenance - and it can be especially so in areas of lower competition. In some cases you may find that your website may remain within the top ten with minimal efforts.
Thus it can make extra sense to invest developing a competent foundation for such exposure. You can give yourself a firm foothold before that competition heats up. You'll benefit from taking action now, while others are still scared of the 'new-ness' or 'technology'.
At the regional level, your benefits are multiplied
Does your business only work in one particular region. You site can optimised to be found for that particular area
Let say you were to spend $3,000 per year on maintaining and improving your online prominence. (less than the cost of the smallest yellow pages display ad)
